Hmmm, I am still processing your findings. I feel like I just took a gut punch from a friend. I see Google leading the way with PWAs, the distillation of everything I have preached for almost a decade now. They give us the regular icon, until now and they make PWAs a 2nd class citizen. I mean Apple still makes the icons at least 1st class.
I hope they rethink this approach.
